Si Sergei Mavrodi, isang Ruso, ay ang kinikilalang founder nang MMM social financial community. Siya ay may degree sa Mathematics mula sa Department of Applied Mathematics ng Moscow Institute of Electronics Engineering noong 1978. May specialization din siya sa “artificial intelligence”. Nagtrabaho siya bilang programmer at naging bahagi sa pagdi-develop nang mga naunang operating systems. Nagtayo din siya nang kompanya nang computer equipment distribution,naging Deputy sa Russian Parliament, nakapaglathala nang ilang aklat, nagsusulat nang mga tula at 2 sa kanyang screenplay ay naisa-pelikula.

Taong 1989 nang sinimulan ni Sergei Mavrodi ang corporative society na “MMM” na naging basehan din nang ilang commercial structures. Ang MMM noon ay nasa industriya nang computer supplying. Taong 1992 ay mas naging kilala ang brand na MMM nang magbigay si Mavrodi nang ilang beses na libreng biyahe sa Moscow Subway.
